my handsome hubs

happy!

Our beloved Jesse and Bongo found us at our new home!  It was exciting to count down the days to Jesus' BIRTHDAY with them this year in Hawai'i!

Bongo gifted the kiddos with Lego advent calendars to start the countdown to Christmas

He was excited to find our new home warm!

Remembering the songs of the season that share the REASON for the season and lifeguarding the kiddos to remind them of the ultimate LIFEGUARD!

Sharing in a favorite Christmas story with new friends

Bongo helps the kiddos be thoughtful about others...we made brownie treats and passed them out to friends!  He also makes them think about the Christmas story...below he played WAR with Elsa to remind the kids Mary and Joseph had traveled to Bethlehem to be COUNTED!

He even writes Christmas cards to remind our friends and family about the REASON for the season!

This year, the kids decided to purchase with their money jackets for a local jacket drive...Bongo was proud of their heart for others!

Jesse and Bongo never want to miss out on the action, we caught them one morning taking 'selfies' and one day trying to sneak in the kid's bags to go to church!

simple reminders to love!

Asking the kids what they thought the weather was like the night Jesus was born and below reminding them about the angels that announces His arrival to the shepherds in the fields.

Sharing in the joy of our KING

A scavenger hunt started with Jesse and ended with Bongo in the tree with the star representing our Savior

The best gift being Jesus this season

Surprise and sharing with a friend

Bongo needed 'saving' when he went to get a better view of our nativity...thankful we have a 'SAVE'ior!

Reminding the kiddos to be fishers of men!

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!!!

They are off again but with a great reminder for us all!
